The hotel is close to transport links from every part of the country, by LUAS, coach, train, DART or by car and the Aircoach stops beside the hotel so delegates flying in to the city have a direct link to Dublin Airport.

The Davenport Hotel has three meeting rooms which can cater for meetings and conferences from 16 to 250 delegates in a desirable Dublin location. The Gandon Suite offers two rooms with flexible options for your conferences. The additional Gandon central space links the two rooms and offers an additional tea and coffee break out area.

Our Boardroom is a stylish old-world boardroom that can seat from 10 to 40 and can also be used for private dining.

Conferences

For larger events the Davenport Hotel team can offer you the added flexibility of partnering with our sister hotels in Dublin, The Alexander and The Mont Clare, located directly across the road.  The Aston Suite at the Alexander can accommodate up to 420 delegates and the three hotels will partner together to provide breakouts or dining space for large conferences.

The Board room or Lanyon's restaurant offer a choice of smaller suites for more intimate dinners and events for 20 to 80 guests. Ideal venues for:

Weddings

The team at the Davenport Hotel Dublin offers you our finely tuned O’Callaghan Hotels hospitality tailored to your needs, ensuring we give you a wedding day to remember. On approaching the Davenport Hotel a certain romance is evoked by a facade dating back to 1863, that and the fantastic location combine to give you a special somewhere to celebrate your special day.

We have three different options for the future bride and groom to look at for your reception:

  • Lanyon’s restaurant can cater for up to 114 guests and can be hired privately for your special day.
  • The Gandon Suite offers a versatile suite of rooms that can cater for up to 350 guests. This suite offers flexibility and our wedding co-coordinator can guide you through your options to ensure you get the reception that you want.
  • Our Boardroom offers guests a venue for an intimate gathering of up to 36.

The Davenport Hotel, and The Alexander Hotel located across the road, can accommodate civil ceremonies which offer you the opportunity to have an easy transition from ceremony to reception during your big day. Or if you are getting married locally, we are only five minutes from Dublin’s registry office, Unitarian church and Newmans University Church on Stephens Green.
