Black Friday & Cyber Monday hues in Dublin 2017

Over the past few years Black Friday has become a household shopping event in Ireland, even starting to, rival Stephen’s Day on the spending stakes, as retailers clamour to cash in ahead of Christmas with deals all over the shop.

This year Black Friday falls on Friday 24 November 2017 and Cyber Monday on Monday 27 November.

What to expect in 2017 and how to find the best deals?

Last year everyone from major fashion brands and luxury department stores to airlines and tour operators got in on the action even some hotels in Dublin city, offering huge discount across a range of product categories. 2017 is no different and tech will be one of the top focuses of Black Friday, with many retailers such as Harvey Norman and Argos expected to launch big Black Friday discounts on everything from Apple Macbooks to cheap laptops.
Last year even boutique hotels in Dublin City centre had huge discounts, last year O’Callaghan hotels offered 40% off when you booked your stay through their website.

You will find very good bargains on the internet on Cyber Monday but even on Black Friday, more and more people prefer to shop while sitting on their sofas. So, if you go shopping on the streets on Friday it should be okay and you will be able to treat yourself while wandering in our beautiful city.
