Dublin Castle

The heart of historic Dublin is definitely the Dublin Castle. The castle stands on a strategic site at the junction of the River Liffey and its tributary the Poddle, where the original fortification may have been an early Gaelic Ring Fort. It has been discovered that later a Viking Fortress stood on this site, visitors can see a portion of it in the “Medieval Undercroft” which also includes the remains of the original 13th-century castle. Chester Beatty Library

One of the most famous libraries in the world is located in the historical city centre of Dublin just next to the Dublin Castle. Among its numerous treasures, you will find the second oldest biblical fragment ever found or even (for the romantic ones) love poems written on papyrus and dated from around 1100 BC. National Wax Museum

The kids will love this museum, it gives an overview of Irish history through the ages from the Bronze Age up to present day Ireland, for the bravest, there is the terrifying Chambers of Horror. National Leprechaun Museum

This museum is dedicated to Irish myths, you will discover there a world of folklore and stories. This museum will delight adults and children and make you travel through the most famous Irish stories thanks to the original sets.

See the animals at Dublin Zoo

Located in Phoenix Park in the heart of Dublin city, the Dublin zoo is an incredible place where rare and exotic animals are living in a large variety of natural habitats. The animals come from all around the world, from giraffes and zebras to elephants and tigers. This is a must see in Dublin!

Aquazone Aquatic Centre

Aquazone at the National Aquatic Centre is one of the biggest and most exciting attractions for families, groups, and individuals in Ireland, this is also Europe’s largest indoor water park. Kids will love the Master Blaster (water roller coaster), Flow Rider (surfing machine), Pirate Ship (for the little ones), Dark Hole Flume and Green Giant Flume (water slides), as well as the wave pool, lazy river, and bubble pool.
