LOCATION & PARKING

The Davenport is located at 8/10 Merrion Street Lower, in the heart of Georgian Dublin near the beautiful Merrion Square. We’re perfectly positioned in Dublin 2, offering easy access to the city’s main attractions while being tucked away from the busiest areas.

Yes. Guests of The Davenport can avail of a specially discounted rate in Alexander Court car park, which is situated on Fenian Street,  3-minute walk from the lobby. Guests can avail of a special 24-hour discounted parking rate of €18. If your stay exceeds this period, an additional charge of €4 per hour will apply. EV charging points are available (bring your own charging leads). Height restriction: 1.90m.

The Davenport is easily accessible from Dublin Airport by taxi (approximately 20–30 minutes) or by express bus services like Aircoach and DublinExpress, both offering direct routes to Dublin City Centre in around 30 minutes. Several Dublin Bus routes also connect the airport to the city centre.

Pearse Station is the closest train station, approximately 500m away (3 minute walk). For bus services, multiple stops are within 2-3 minutes’ walk, including hop-on hop-off tourist buses.

Yes, The Davenport has both elevators and stairs accessing all floors. If you prefer to use stairs only, all floors are accessible via staircase. However, we also have reliable elevators for your convenience.

DINING & SERVICES

Breakfast inclusion depends on your booking rate. If you booked a “Bed & Breakfast” rate, breakfast is included. If not, you can add breakfast by calling reception (dial 0). Breakfast is served in The Lady Jane Restaurant from 7am-10am weekdays and 7am-10:30am on weekends and bank holidays.
